Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid oxide fuel cell system capable of improving fuel utilization efficiency by recycling unreacted fuel from a fuel cell stack while having a relatively simple system constitution, and an operating method of a solid oxide fuel cell system.SOLUTION: A solid oxide fuel cell system 1 includes an ejector combustor 2 in which fuel and unreacted fuel are mixed together with oxidation gas containing at least oxygen at a mixing section to be delivered, and the mixture is combusted by an oxidation catalyst 31. A control unit controls the supply of the oxidation gas to the ejector combustor 2, and allows the oxidation gas to be transferred to the ejector combustor 2 at system start and system stop, while blocking the oxidation gas during the steady operation of the system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
