PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to perform adequate acquisition management of an external file according to the policy of an organization.SOLUTION: A file management system 10 is provided, in which a server 100 comprises: a communication device capable of accessing each of internal and external networks (the Internet 20 and an internal network 30); and a calculation device that checks a file received from the external network 20 with a prescribed criterion corresponding to the file attribute, determines whether the file should be transferred to the internal network 30, and transfers the file to a prescribed device 200 in the internal network 30 if the file is determined to be transferable as a result of the determination.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
