Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric converter having high charge collection efficiency and capable of improving photoelectric conversion efficiency.SOLUTION: The photoelectric converter includes a quantum dot layer 11 having a quantum dot accumulating section 13 in which a plurality of quantum dots 13a are accumulated and a plurality of carrier collecting sections 15 provided in the quantum dot accumulating section 13. The carrier collecting section 15 has a columnar portion 15A extending in the thickness direction of the quantum dot accumulating portion 13 and the columnar portion 15A has a concave portion 15U extending in the longitudinal direction of the columnar portion 15A on a part of a side surface 15s.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
