PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the false detection of an exercise that is unintended by a user.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device according to the present invention includes: an input unit to which are inputted a plurality of acceleration signals indicating each of acceleration components along each of a plurality of mutually different directions; an extraction unit for extracting a signal portion exceeding the upper limit threshold of a prescribed range including an acceleration zero from each of time transitions within a prescribed time of each of the acceleration signals and a signal portion less than the lower limit threshold of the prescribed range; a detection unit for selecting the signal portion on the basis of the result of comparison of the signal portions with each other that are extracted by the extraction unit, and detecting an operation in a direction corresponding to the selected signal portion; and an output unit for outputting a signal when the direction of the operation detected by the detection unit matches a prescribed direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
