Abstract:
To perform a cryptographic communication by sharing the same group key among devices in a group when there are multiple controllers in the group.SOLUTION: In the control command transmission processing sequence, at least one controller in a group determines a coordinator for managing the group key that is commonly used in the group. The determined coordinator generates a group key, executes mutual authentication with devices and controllers in the group, and shares the generated group key among the devices and controllers which are successfully authenticated. The coordinator generates encrypted data and data for authentication by using the group key and performs a simultaneous multi-address communication of messages that include the encrypted data and the data for authentication.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 29
