Abstract:
Conventionally, when forming a film of an anti-fogging agent composition, handling is difficult due to the need for high-temperature heating and energy ray irradiation, and when the mirror surface has not been subjected to anti-fogging treatment, performing anti-fogging treatment at a later time was difficult. The present invention is an anti-fogging agent composition which, during film formation, does not require high temperature heating or energy ray irradiation so has good handling, does not result in film unevenness, and, after reliability testing, the film is not prone to decrease in anti-fogging properties or hydrophilic properties. This anti-fogging agent composition contains (A) to (C), wherein the (B) component makes up 1.5 mass% or less of the total composition, and the (C) component makes up 3.0 mass% or less of the total composition. (A) component: water, (B) component: niobium dioxide powder (C) component: silica powder of an average particle diameter of 10-40 nm.
