Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a transparent conductor such that patterns formed in conductive regions and non-conductive regions are barely visible. In order to solve the problem, the transparent conductor includes a transparent substrate, a first high-refractive-index layer, a transparent metal layer made of silver or a silver-containing alloy, and a second high-refractive-index layer in this order. In addition, at this time, the difference between the average light reflectance of the transparent substrate at a specific wavelength and the average light reflectance of the second-high-refractive-index-layer-side surface of the transparent conductor at the specific wavelength is set to 1.5% or less, and the L* value, a* value, and b* value of the transparent substrate are set to L1*, a1*, and b1*, respectively. In addition, when the L* value, a* value, and b* value of the second-high-refractive-index-layer-side surface of the transparent conductor are set to L2*, a2*, and b2*, respectively, ∆E*ab given below is 2.5 or less. ∆E*ab = ((L1* - L2*)2 + (a1* - a2*)2 + (b1* - b2*)2)1/2
