Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a warning device which allows a driver to safely prepare manual driving start.SOLUTION: A warning device 1 is mounted on an automatic driving vehicle and alerts driver when switching from automatic driving to manual driving is performed. The warning device comprises: a residual time information acquisition part 2 for acquiring information of a residual time until automatic driving is finished from an automatic driving control part 10; a preparation time calculation part 3 for determining a driver's state based on a sensing result acquired from various kinds of sensors 11 mounted on the automatic driving vehicle, for determining a preparation time required for starting manual driving; an output timing determination part 4 for determining an output timing of warning based on a comparison result of the residual time and the preparation time; and a warning output part 5 for outputting a warning at the output timing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
