Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high color rendering liquid crystal display that has a high cover ratio to a color gamut of BT. 2020, and a color filter used for the same.SOLUTION: A high color rendering liquid crystal display comprises: a backlight part that includes green quantum dots and red quantum dots arranged on an emission light path of a blue light emitting element, and emits blue light, green light, and red light; and a liquid crystal cell part that includes a color filter including a red coloring layer, green coloring layer, and blue coloring layer formed on a transparent substrate, an opposing substrate, and a liquid crystal layer formed between the color filter and opposing substrate. The blue light has a peak position in a peak wavelength within a wavelength range of 450 nm to 470 nm, the green light has a peak position in a peak wavelength within a wavelength range of 530 nm±10 nm, the average transmittance of the green coloring layer of the color filter is 15% or less within a wavelength range of 450 nm to 500 nm, and the average transmittance of the blue coloring layer is 5% or less within a wavelength range of 500 nm to 550 nm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
