Abstract:
A boom 17 of a wheeled loader or digger 10 is pivoted about a horizontal axis 18 in a fork 29, 30. Yaw adjustment is provided by opposed taper plugs 34, 35 which constitute a spindle of the boom. The taper portions 37 of the plugs are eccentric with respect to the bearing portions 36 and may be rotationally adjusted to correct misalignment of the boom in yaw. A threaded fastener 40 locks the taper plugs to the boom.
