Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform measurement of a tire during actual travelling.SOLUTION: A sensor module 1, which is located in a vertical groove 111 of a tire 100 having a tread pattern, detects sound, temperature, pressure, acceleration and so on near an outer peripheral surface of the tire 100, and outputs a detection signal to a transmission unit 3 fixed to a wheel center by a magnet 34 via a cable 2. The transmission unit 3 digitizes the detection signal into detection data, and transfers said data to a data processor 4 located in an automobile via a relay 5 or directly by wireless communication. The data processor 4 executes processes for recording the transferred detection data and representing the result of processing and analyzing said detection data to a user.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
