Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lumbar support device which can support a lumbar part of a seating person and a wide area near the lumber part and provides comfort to the seating person.SOLUTION: A lumbar support device 19 is used in a vehicle seat having a seat cushion which receives a hip of a seating person and a seat back which receives a back of the seating person. The lumbar support device 19 has: a first pressing member 31 which presses a first area of the seat back from an interior part of the seat back; and a second pressing member 32 which presses a second area of the seat back, which is an area lower than the first area, from an inner side of the seat back. The second pressing member presses the second area of the seat back at the same time as when the first pressing member 31 presses the first area of the seat back. Since the first area and the second area are simultaneously supported, the seating person sits comfortably.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
