Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration of traveling life by absorbing heat generated in traveling and discharging it.SOLUTION: A transmission belt 1 includes an endless tension band 2, and a plurality of blocks 10 with a fitting groove 14 into which the tension band 2 is fitted. The block 10 is constituted by coating an insert material 40 with a coating layer 50 formed of a material having lower heat conductivity than that of the insert material 40. In the insert material 40, provided are heat absorption parts 61, 62 exposed from the coating layer 50 in the fitting groove 14 and contacting with the tension band 2, and heat radiation parts 63, 64 exposed from the coating layer 50 on an upper surface 10a, a lower surface 10b and a side surface 10c of the block 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
