Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuously variable transmission which can suppress the wear of a transmission belt and a movable sheave.SOLUTION: A continuously variable transmission is constituted of a fixed sheave in which a primary pulley and a secondary pulley are fixed to a rotating shaft, and a movable sheave which is movably arranged at the rotating shaft. A transmission belt is wound to a belt winding groove which is formed of tapered faces of the fixed sheave and the movable sheave, and a gear change ratio is continuously changed by changing a winding radius of the transmission belt by changing a width of the belt winding groove by moving the movable sheave. A lubricant discharge part having a discharge hole for discharging a lubricant is formed inside a rotation trajectory of the transmission belt, and a discharge direction of the lubricant from the discharge hole is directed to a small-diameter end of the movable sheave of the primary pulley when a maximum gear change ratio is γ, or directed to a small-diameter end of the movable sheave of the secondary pulley when a minimum gear change ratio is γ.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
