Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vehicle control device suppressing repetition of contact and release of a contactor, and suppressing shortening of service life of the contactor.SOLUTION: An electric vehicle control device includes a motor driving an electric vehicle. An inverter converts direct-current power from the power supply to alternating-current power and supplies the power to the motor. A contactor connects or opens the space between the inverter and the motor on the basis of the state of an emergency brake braking the electric vehicle at least at the time of emergency or the state of a reverser controlling the traveling direction of the electric vehicle. A controller makes control of the contactor depending on the state of the emergency brake or the state of the reverser valid or invalid in accordance with a parameter indicating the speed of the electric vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
