PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized hermetic compressor capable of reducing vibration.SOLUTION: A hermetic compressor 100 includes a compression element 20, a motor-driven element 30 for driving the compression element 20, and a hermetic container 3 for storing the compression element 20 and the motor-driven element 30. The compression element 20 includes a cylinder 21, a crankshaft 23 for compressing a refrigerant by reciprocating a piston 22 in the cylinder 21, and a frame 24 for pivotally supporting the crankshaft 23. A cylinder 21 is disposed in an upper side of the frame 24, the motor-driven element 30 is disposed in a lower side of the frame 24, the frame 24 is supported by the hermetic container 3 through coil springs 9, 9 and the coil spring 9 is positioned in an outer peripheral side of the cylinder 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
