PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation system, an image formation device, a communication method and a program, capable of quickly communicating about required information between a first control part provided at an image formation device and a second control part provided at a connection device that is connected to the image formation device.SOLUTION: At the time of LT communication, a lower tray LT set at a supply source of a sheet is determined to be a first communication object based on an image formation condition that is contained in a job, for example, during execution of the job, by a main CPU of an image formation device. In a communication between a sub CPU and each LT micro computer, transmission from an LT micro computer in the lower tray LT of the first communication object is performed first, and then, transmission from the LT micro computer of a lower tray LT other than the lower tray LT of the first communication object is performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
