Abstract:
To provide a liquid discharge device that can reduce occurrence of crosstalk and improve liquid filling performance.SOLUTION: An ink discharge head 100 has an ink supply port 2 as an opening. The ink supply port 2 is formed in a slender-shape extending in a direction of a plane of a substrate of the ink discharge head 100. A plurality of ink discharge holes 1 and a plurality of heaters are provided in a longitudinal direction of the ink supply port 2. The ink discharge holes 1 are formed in ink chambers 5, respectively. Each of the ink chambers 5 is partitioned by a side wall 19A, a pair of bulkheads 19B and 19B, a substrate layer 10 and a nozzle layer 20. The substrate layer 10 opposing to the ink supply port 2 side of the bulkhead 19B is made as a protruding part 6 protruding toward the ink supply port 2. On the protruding part 6 is provided a column 4. The protruding part 6 and the column 4 can reduce an influences on ink flowing into the next ink chamber 5. This can reduce occurrences of crosstalk and improve liquid filling performance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
