PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image inspection system that can obtain an image suitable for inspecting whether a foreign substance is included in an imaging object, an imaging system, and an imaging method.SOLUTION: An illumination lamp 110 emits illumination light to the inside of a container 500. A first polarizer 120 includes a transmission axis in the vertical direction and polarizes the illumination light from the illumination lamp 110. A second polarizer 130 includes a transmission axis in the lateral direction and polarizes reflected light that is the illumination light polarized by the first polarizer 120 and reflected on the inside of the container 500. A camera 140 obtains, through imaging, a photographed image represented by the reflected light polarized by the second polarizer 130.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
