PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems in which: an operation in consideration with energy conservation cannot be performed since it is constituted of irradiation at all time in which culture solution and a titanium oxide photocatalysis are always irradiated with beam of light including UV light.SOLUTION: A solution sterilization device irradiating a UV sterilization tank 139 with beam of light from an external or internal UV light source 143 to sterilize solution such as raw water and culture solution by titanic oxide includes a flow sensor 138 at a solution supply side of the UV sterilization tank 139 so as to control driving of the UV light source 143 on the basis of the solution supply amount detected by the flow sensor 138.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
