Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device which enables increase of product lineup while reducing the manufacturing costs.SOLUTION: A recording device includes: a recording part 22 which injects a liquid to a medium 16 and makes records; a maintenance part 23 which conducts maintenance of the recording part 22; and an attachment part 35 where a waste liquid unit 34, which stores a waste liquid discharged in conjunction with the maintenance conducted by the maintenance part 23, may be attached. The attachment part 35 has an attachment part for attaching any of the waste liquid units 34 so that the waste liquid unit 34 from among different types of the waste liquid units 34 is selectively attached.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
