PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid collecting diffusion device of leak cryogenic liquefied gas excellent in maintainability.SOLUTION: A liquid collecting diffusion device (10) (a leak LNG collecting diffusion device) for collecting LNG leaked from the top edge part a pump barrel (3), which is vertically arranged in a LNG tank (1) by penetrating a roof (2) of the LNG tank, and diffusing it that comprises: a splash prevention cover (11) for covering the top edge part of the pump barrel (3); a conduit pipe (12) for leading the leak LNG downward from the bottom of the splash prevention cover (11); a collection liquid container (13) that is the metal airtight collection liquid container (13) disposed on the outside of the LNG tank (1) to that the lower end of the conduit pipe (12) is connected; and a dissipation tower (14) connected in a communication manner to the top edge or to the vicinity of the top edge of the collection liquid container (13) and extending upward to a prescribed height. The collection liquid container (13) is composed of a vertical cylindrical body with a closed bottom and a closed apex and is vertically arranged along the side of the LNG tank (1).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
