Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket for an electric part capable of accommodating a plurality of kinds of electric parts in one socket for an electric part.SOLUTION: An IC socket 10 disposed on a wiring board 1 and accommodating IC packages 3, 6 includes a socket body 20 disposed on the wiring board 1 and having a floating plate 55 in which the IC packages 3, 6 are accommodated, and a cover member 30 rotatably provided with respect to the socket body 20 and opening and closing the floating plate 55. The cover member 30 includes a frame 31 rotatably provided on the socket body 20, and a pressing member 32 which is supported by the frame body 31 and presses the IC packages 3, 6 accommodated in the floating plate 55 when the cover member 30 is closed. The IC socket 10 is configured to have an adjusting mechanism 37 for adjusting the height position of the pressing member 32 with respect to the floating plate 55 when the cover member 30 is closed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
