Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power steering device which can inhibit increase of a steering load by cooperating with a second pump and a steering motor even when a first pump is stopped.SOLUTION: A power steering device has: a steering mechanism 11; a first power cylinder C1 which applies a steering force to the steering mechanism; a first pump P1 which is driven by an engine; a second pump P2 which is driven by a pump driving motor; a rotary valve 13 which selectively supplies an oil supplied from the first pump or the second pump to first and second hydraulic chambers X1, X2 of the first power cylinder; a steering motor M1 which applies the steering force to an input shaft 18 of the steering mechanism; and a control device 70 on which a microcomputer is mounted. The control device 70 is provided with: a pump driving motor control part 75 which drives the pump driving motor when at least the first pump is stopped; and a steering motor control part 74 which drives the steering motor when at least the first pump is stopped.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
