Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a protruding height of a protruding part to be changed without being removed from a roll main body.SOLUTION: A roll 10 comprises a roll main body 11, a movable member 40 having protrusion parts 42 protruded outside through several openings opened at an outer peripheral surface of the roll main body 11, and a height changing mechanism 50 for changing a protrusion height of the protrusion parts 42 from the outer peripheral surface of the roll main body 11 by displacing the movable member 40. Within the roll main body 11 are arranged a spring 61 for energizing the movable member 40 toward the inner peripheral side and a hydraulic passage 23 for applying hydraulic pressure for pushing the movable member 40 toward a side opposing [an outer peripheral side] against an energizing direction of the spring 61. The height changing mechanism 50 continuously changes a protruding height of the protrusion parts 42 in response to the hydraulic pressure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
