Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost powder feeder, capable of accurately measuring the supply of powder irrespective of a measurement error at the start for driving a powder feeding member even when an object is a powder supplied to an analyzer.SOLUTION: A powder feeder 1 comprises: a powder storage part 10; a powder feeding part 20 for feeding a powder in the powder storage part 10 to the outside; a cantilevered load measuring part (a load cell) 30; and a control part 40 for controlling the feeding amount of the powder. The control part 40 comprises: start command means 40A for commanding the start for driving the screw 22 of the powder feeding part 20; stop command means 40B for commanding the stop for driving the screw 22 when a predetermined time elapses after a command by the start command means 40A; tare deduction command means 40C for commanding the tare deduction of a load measuring part 30 after a command by the stop command means 40B; and start re-command means 40D for re-commanding the start for driving the screw 22 after the tare deduction command.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
