Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further increase a start-up speed.SOLUTION: Initialization modules for respective function units and a plurality of functional start-up management tables with which start-up sequences of the initialization modules different by functions are stored by an EEPROM 116, and job types with higher frequencies in execution are selected by a job history management unit 118. By a start-up sequence management unit 119, a start-up sequence of the initialization modules is determined in accordance with registered contents in functional start-up management tables corresponding to the job types with higher frequencies in execution, and further, parallel processing information allowing parallel processing is added to the determined initialization modules if a RAM 115 has a capacity to allow parallel processing of the initialization modules. By a system control unit 122, in accordance with the start-up sequence determined by the start-up sequence management unit 119 and the parallel processing information, the initialization modules are read from the EEPROM 116 to initialize respective function units by the parallel processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
