Abstract:
A network device that can communicate with a wireless terminal that has the location thereof registered in a prescribed tracking area. The network device is provided with a transmission unit that notifies the wireless terminal of a paging message and with a control unit that detects reception of the paging message by the wireless terminal. When the control unit has detected that the wireless terminal has received the paging message, the control unit transmits, to base stations that manage cells that belong to the prescribed tracking area, a release message that is for indicating that the applicable base station release the paging message.
