Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a tread part from decreasing in rubber absence resisting performance and wet performance as it wears off.SOLUTION: There is provided a pneumatic tire 1 for heavy load that has, at a tread part 2, a plurality of main grooves 3 extending continuously in a tire peripheral direction and lateral grooves 4 extending in a tire axial direction from the main grooves 3, and thereby has at least one block array 6 where blocks 5 defined by the main grooves 3 and lateral grooves 4 are arranged in the tire peripheral direction. The lateral grooves 4 each include shallow bottom parts 16, 19 smaller than a maximum groove depth of the main grooves 3, and lateral groove bottom sipes 17, 20 extending along the lateral grooves 4 are formed at groove bottoms of the shallow bottom parts 16, 16. When the tread part 2 wears off, the block array 6 is continuous in the tire peripheral direction via the lateral groove bottom sipes 17, 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
