Abstract:
In a measuring device, when beam members having specified lengths are moved over rails while one of the beam members being in contact with one of the rails at two rollers spaced apart from each other by a preset distance, an angular velocity acting on the one of the beam members is detected, and a product of the angular velocity detected and a distance between two points that is a distance between the contact points respectively contacting the two rollers is calculated as an amount of a track geometry at a midpoint of the two contact points.
