Abstract:

This bone density measuring device has an inclined measurement groove in which a measurement assisting mechanism is disposed. The measurement assisting mechanism has a grip for measuring a right arm, a grip for measuring a left arm, a right elbow abutting piece, and a left elbow abutting piece. Each grip can selectively be placed in a lowered position and a standing position. The grip being used is combined with the elbow abutting piece that is not used. Two detectors which detect the positions of the two grips are provided.
