Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminate which exhibits high levels of interlayer adhesion and scratch resistance and offers superior polarizer durability when incorporated in an image display device as a polarizing plate, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same, a polarizing plate using the same, and an image display device.SOLUTION: A laminate is provided comprising a polarizer, moisture-proof layer, and hard coat layer arranged in the described order. The moisture-proof layer is made of a cured product containing a cyclic polyolefin component and an acrylate or methacrylate component as constituents, and the hard coat layer is made of a cured product containing a tri- or more functional acrylate or methacrylate component as a constituent. A method of manufacturing the laminate, a polarizing plate produced using the laminate, and an image display device are also provided herein.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
