Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radioactivity distribution analysis system and method capable of analyzing radioactivity distribution even in an environment that it is difficult for a worker to enter the inside of a radioactive material handling facility and that it is difficult to view the inside of the facility by an optical camera or the like.SOLUTION: A radioactivity distribution analysis system comprises: a radiation detector 101 for measuring a γ ray dosage rate; a dosage rate meter 102 for deriving a dosage rate; a radiation detector moving device 104 for moving the radiation detector 101; a position calculation device 105 for calculating three-dimensional position coordinates of the radiation detector 101; a radioactivity distribution analysis device 103 by which the derived dosage rate is used to calculate dosage rate distribution and an attenuation factor, the calculated attenuation factor is used to analyze main nuclear species in the radioactivity distribution, a waveform o the dosage rate distribution, the three-dimensional position coordinates and a trigonometric function are used to analyze a distance between the radiation detector 101 and the main nuclear species, and multiple measurement results of the dosage rate distribution, the distance, the main nuclear species and the three-dimensional position coordinates are used to analyze the radioactivity distribution; and a display device 106 for displaying the radioactivity distribution.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
