Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine that increases an amount of magnetic torque generated per magnet by using magnetic torque in a projecting part.SOLUTION: A stator for a rotary electric machine comprises: an annular core part; and an armature coil toroidal-wound around the annular core part and in which AC current flows, thereby generating a magnetic field. A rotor for a rotary electric machine comprises: a radial rotor 14 disposed opposite to a stator in a direction orthogonal to a rotation axial line of the rotor and comprising radial permanent magnets 18 and radial projecting parts 19 alternately arranged in a circumferential direction around the rotation axial line; and an axial rotor 64 disposed opposite the stator in a direction parallel to the rotation axial line, and comprising axial permanent magnets 68 and axial projecting parts 69 alternately arranged in the circumferential direction around the rotation axial line. Connection parts 15b, composed of a non-magnetic material or the like, are respectively arranged as a magnetic barrier near the radial permanent magnet 18 and near the axial permanent magnets 68.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
