Abstract:

To provide an acoustic watermark superimposing method which allows copyright information to be added to an acoustic signal produced by musical performance.SOLUTION: Copyright information such as a player information, a place of a space where a musical instrument is played, date, and so on is encoded into an acoustic signal in a non-audible frequency band to generate an information sound. This information sound is successively or intermittently emitted in a space where a musical instrument is played, thereby the copyright information being simultaneously recorded as a sound watermark when a performance sound of a musical instrument is recorded.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
