Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of preventing a temperature of a cold storage chamber or refrigeration chamber from excessively lowering, and rapidly cooling foods.SOLUTION: A refrigerator including second temperature detection means 52 of detecting a temperature of a cold storage chamber or refrigeration chamber, is configured to, in normal cooling operation, when a detection temperature from the second temperature detection means 52 is equal to or more than a compressor-on threshold, operate a compressor at low speed, and when the detection temperature from the second temperature detection means 52 is equal to or less than a compressor-off threshold, stop the compressor; and in quick cooling operation, even when the detection temperature from the second temperature detection means 52 is equal to or less then the compressor-off threshold after operating the compressor at high speed, continuously operate the compressor at low speed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
