Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ideal ink capable of recording with good quality with suppressed beading to not only plain paper, but also a general purpose printing paper and good in image concentration and discharge stability.SOLUTION: There is provided an ink containing at least a coloring agent, an organic solvent and water, where the organic solvent contains at least one kind of organic solvent having solubility parameter of 9 or more and less than 11.8 with the content, the organic solvent having solubility parameter of 9 or more and less than 11.8 of 20 mass% or more based on total amount of the ink, dynamic surface tension A of the ink at 25°C and surface life of 15 msec. by maximum bubble pressure method is 34.0 mN/m or less and the dynamic surface tension A and static surface tension B of the ink at 25°C satisfy the following formula, 10.0%≤[(A-B)/(A+B)]×100≤19.0%.SELECTED DRAWING: None
