PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device with high picture quality, in which deterioration of picture quality at a peripheral portion of an image is suppressed.SOLUTION: An imaging device includes: a photoelectric conversion film 20 having an image area R1 and a non-image area, and receiving light to create electric charges; and an electron source defining the image area R1 and the non-image area as an area R4 to be irradiated, scanning and irradiating the area R4 to be irradiated with electrons, and irradiating simultaneously a plurality of areas in the non-image area with electrons during reading stop periods P2, P4 of signals.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
