Abstract:
To provide a float-type drain trap which prevents the intrusion of foreign matters at manual discharge, can surely block air leakage at a failure of a drain valve, and can easily switch three modes of an automatic discharge mode, the manual discharge mode and a block mode.SOLUTION: A valve body 3 in which a drain valve 14 is accommodated is arranged so as to be located in a drain body 2 which is continuously arranged at a lower part of a drain case 1 at its lower side while communicating with the inside of the drain case 1 via a foreign matter intrusion prevention net 11 at its upper side, a drain bypass flow passage 31 bypassing the drain valve 14 communicating with the inside of the drain case 1 is formed at the valve body 3 via the foreign matter intrusion prevention net 11, and a float-type drain trap can switch three modes of an automatic discharge mode, a manual discharge mode and a block mode by a lift operation of a drain piston 7 accommodated in the drain body 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
