Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cage molding which is made of a fiber-reinforced composite material including a carbon fiber fabric and a thermoplastic resin, which has a smooth surface coming into contact with a bearing rolling element and which has rigidity against rotative centrifugal force deformation, and a method of manufacturing the cage molding.SOLUTION: A cage is obtained by pressing a plate-like fiber-reinforced composite material including a carbon fiber woven fabric and a thermoplastic resin. An external flange, a casing hole for a rolling element and a hole for a shaft are pressed concurrently with cage molding, and the cage having a smooth side surface of the casing hole for the rolling element and making shape accuracy proper is pressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
