Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amplifier which can decrease a rising edge time tand a falling edge time tof an output signal even with an input signal of a low frequency.SOLUTION: An amplifier comprises: a preceding part 10 which increases the slope of a signal change at a crosspoint of an output waveform in the case of an input sine wave of a low frequency; and a limiter amplifier 20 which converts an output signal of the preceding part 10 to a rectangular wave. The preceding part 10 includes: an emitter-coupled circuit 40 arranged by connecting an emitter electrode of a first transistor Q1 with an emitter electrode of a second transistor; a constant current source CS1 which supplies a biasing current to the emitter-coupled circuit 40; a first resistance R1 connected between a collector electrode of the first transistor Q1 and a power source VCC; a second resistance R2 connected between a collector electrode of the second transistor Q2 and the power source VCC; and a capacitor C0 connected between the collector electrode of the first transistor Q1, and the collector electrode of the second transistor Q2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
