Abstract:
[Problem] To allow two types of electrical component having different thicknesses to be evaluated properly in an electrical component socket. [Solution] This electrical component socket has a vertically movable inner pressing member for pressing on an electrical component that is housed in a housing portion of the socket main body. In addition, this electrical component socket has an outer pressing member provided in such a manner as to be vertically movable independently from the inner pressing member, and pressing on the socket main body or the electrical component housed in the housing portion of the socket main body. In addition, this electrical component socket has a rotatable cam comprising a first pressing portion formed thereon, pressing down the inner pressing member and the outer pressing member by a rotation of the cam in one direction, and a second pressing portion formed thereon, pressing down the inner pressing member and the outer pressing member by a rotation of the cam in another direction. On the first pressing portion of the cam, an inner cam portion for pressing down the inner pressing member and an outer cam portion for pressing down the outer pressing member are formed in such a manner as to produce a step therebetween.
