Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To close intermediate pressure injection holes 50b, 51b without using any shut-off valve when a movable scroll 11 is stopped at an electric compressor 1.SOLUTION: A compression mechanism 10 at an electronic compressor 1 is operated in such a way that intermediate pressure refrigerant is poured into a compression chamber 15 through intermediate pressure pouring holes 50b, 51b in the midway of a compressing step for compressing refrigerant at the compression chamber 15, the refrigerant in the compression chamber 15 is compressed together with the poured refrigerant up to a high pressure refrigerant. A control circuit 63 controls an inverter circuit 62 when it is judged that a movable scroll 11 is stopped to apply electrical energy to a U-phase winding 49a, a V-phase winding 49b. A rotor 22 is rotated by an electromagnetic force generated through a magnetic field of each of the U-phase winding 49a and the V-phase winding 49b and stopped at a predetermined position. With such an arrangement as above, the movable scroll 11 is stopped at a predetermined position. At this time, the movable scroll 11 closes the intermediate pressure pouring holes 50b, 51b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
