Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a notification of unconformity between a vehicle control unit and a battery control unit by reliably detecting the unconformity while reducing a startup time of an electric vehicle without increasing a communication load between the vehicle control unit and the battery control unit.SOLUTION: A conformity determination unit 52 determines conformity between an HV-ECU 22 and a battery ECU 42 only when an electric vehicle receives a startup instruction for the first time after an accessory battery 20 is detached before starting the electric vehicle. Determination result information 48 indicating a result of conformity determination processing is stored in a storage unit 46 of the battery ECU 42. In receiving the next and subsequent startup instructions of the electric vehicle, the battery ECU 42 starts the electric vehicle on the basis of the determination result information 48. Also, the conformity determination unit 52 performs conformity determination processing just after each startup of the electric vehicle. In the case where unconformity is detected by conformity determination processing after starting the electric vehicle, the battery ECU 42 outputs a warning to notify a user of the unconformity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
