Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery with excellent durability including a nonaqueous electrolyte containing DME, which has a high volume output density at the time of manufacturing a battery, and in which reduction of the volume output density is suppressed even when a certain period elapses from a time point when the battery has been manufactured.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes a positive electrode including a positive electrode active material, a negative electrode including a negative electrode active material, and a nonaqueous electrolyte. The positive electrode active material is composed of LiNiCoMnO(1≤c/b≤9, 0.8≤a/(a+b+c)≤0.9), the negative electrode active material is composed of graphite, and the electrolyte is composed of dimethoxyethane. On the surface of the positive electrode active material, one or more elements selected from a group consisting of Ce, Yb, and Er are arranged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
