Abstract:
To provide an information management system which holds setting information while restraining risk of security.SOLUTION: An information management system includes: a communication device having a wireless LAN communication section, an identification information storage section and a setting information storage section; and an information management device having a management information storage section for storing the user ID set for the communication device, the identification information and the setting information in association, and an information control section for controlling the management information storage section. The communication device and the information management device are connected communicably via a network. When replacing the communication device from a first communication device 101 to a second communication device 102, an information control section 320 transmits first setting information, i.e., the wireless LAN setting information of the first communication device 101 to be stored in a management information storage section 330, to the second communication device 102, and erases the first setting information from the management information storage section, upon receiving an update completion notification of the wireless LAN setting information from the second communication device 102.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
