Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell image acquiring apparatus, method, and program capable of limiting cells for which high-magnification images are captured to thereby reduce the amount of data to be processed and stored.SOLUTION: Provided is a cell imaging control apparatus, comprising: an image acquiring unit 30 for acquiring an image in which cells are captured with a first magnification; a growth rate acquiring unit 31 which sets a plurality of partial regions within a region of the image and acquires a cell growth rate based on the image in each partial region; a region-of-interest determining unit 32 for determining a region of interest from among the plurality of partial regions based on the growth rate in each partial region; and an image acquiring unit 33 for performing control such that images of only the region of interest among the plurality of partial regions are captured with a second magnification higher than the first magnification.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
