Abstract:
A connector assembly is disclosed including a first connector having a body, an engaging lug and a blocking member; a second connector capable of being coupled to the first connector, the second connector having a blocking release member and a latch; a connector position assurance member having a flexible connector position assurance leg, the connector position assurance member installed on the second connector such that the position of the connector position assurance member is changeable; and an elastic member configured to bias the connector position assurance member in a first direction. The blocking member can make contact with the connector position assurance leg to move the connector position assurance member in a second direction opposite to the first direction. The blocking release member can release the contact between the connector position assurance leg and the blocking member.
