Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear face junction type solar battery cell capable of suppressing generation of a hot spot without reducing light-receiving efficiency and at low cost.SOLUTION: A solar battery cell 20 comprises an n-type semiconductor substrate 26 including a light-receiving surface 20a and a rear face 20b, an n-type amorphous semiconductor layer 21in, a p-type amorphous semiconductor layer 22ip, a first electrode 21 and a second electrode 22 that are formed at the side of the rear face 20b. In a first region on the rear face 20b, each of the semiconductor layer 21in and the semiconductor layer 22ip includes multiple linear parts, the semiconductor layer 21in is connected to the first electrode 21, and the semiconductor layer 22ip is connected to the second electrode 22. In a second region, on the other hand, the semiconductor layer 21in and the semiconductor layer 22ip are joined, the semiconductor layer 21in is connected to the second electrode 22 and the semiconductor layer 22ip is connected to the first electrode 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5B
