Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automate feeder replacement work during operation of a component mounting machine.SOLUTION: A cassette feeder replacement system includes a suction work area 72 for setting multiple cassette feeders 11 while aligning in the board transport direction, a feeder stock area 74 for receiving the used cassette feeder 11 in the suction work area 72 and a next cassette feeder 11 to be replaced, and recovering the used cassette feeder 11, and two replacement robots 45 for replacing the cassette feeder 11. Simultaneously with, or before and after, the operation of one replacement robot 45 to take out a used cassette feeder 11 from a suction work area 41 and recovering in the feeder stock area 74, the other replacement robot 45 takes out a cassette feeder 11, to be replaced with a component shortage cassette feeder 11, from the feeder stock area 74 and supplies to the suction work area 41.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
